The only good thing about this Steelbook is the custom imside artwork by Blu-devil.

A nice gloss finish and embossed lettering on the front would have made a huge difference.
Apprecaite what you're saying, however if you receive a damaged one there's plenty of copies to return / replace! Or you could go to HMV and pay £16.99 and check it over before purchasing

The thing is that they are actually on ebay for £20 sealed as well
Not only is this the most "meh" design of 2014 thus far, I received one with scratches at the front, near the top.
If have a feeling that when this one starts to sell out, it will become more popular, if not just to have it in your collection.

This was £16.99 instore at HMV yesterday... Picked up a copy and gave it a watch... Im not a paul Greengrass fan, but this was a very good film 
Hanks was very good, and the supporting actor (im not even gonna try and spell his name) was very good as well and thuroughly deserved the BAFTA...
I must be the only person who likes this steel, i think after so many poor matte finishes its nice to see one which imo looks great and creates an awesome reflective sheen on the ocean...

I have tried to improve the SteelBook with some custom inside artwork.
Not the worst steelbook in my collection, but not far off. The film does a pretty good job of making up for it though. I guess it will be ~£9.99 soon enough.
I too paid £16.99. So far I've seen it go for just over £14 new by third-party sellers on Amazon. Really cheesed off. Should've trusted my instinct about the predictability of Sony steelbook price falls. I won't make the same mistake again.
