it's unique in a pretty way, i already have the bestbuy metalbox which is gorgeous and stores my 5-disc super-set, but i also ordered this steelbook version.

there's something about the carbon fiber background that screams "hey look at me" !

for the steelbook purist this maybe the one to get.

Look at the first picture by pbtour - it is sealed tight with stickers. If the plastic polybag is loose and does not have stickers, something is wrong. You might want to refuse delivery or call for an exchange or refund.

Yes, that's the packaging across hong Kong.
I got myself a copy today at one of the store and the store keeper shows me all his copy and indeed all are the same.

when I came back to my hotel room, I found out of all the copies I choose. I had chosen a copy with few dents at the back of the packaging.

This is definitely the one for me. I think it matches my solid red Steelbook for the first movie nicely.... of course one's G1 and one's G2... Oh well. Can't have everything!

Maybe if it was embossed or something but it's not and it's not as nice as the MetalBox (controversial!)

Two totally different steelbooks. One with some design thingy going for it with Cars 2 on it. The other more like the 1st Cars steelbook with the cars and nice happy artwork..

Offcourse the Scandinavian exkl is the one to compare with since the Uk have proven to be a major fail a la Pirates 4 with printed logos and text on the back etc..

bapeixoto, that Cars 1 steelbook is from a few years back offered by Best Buy in the US and Future Shop in Canada. I see you are a couple of posts short of 30 which would allow you to visit the trade/sale forum here where you will find someone who can sell you a copy.

Ordered mine from HMV. Never ordered from the HK site before. Hopefully they package as well as they do in the UK. I've never had any damage from them.
