The Cinemuseum beauty shots are sometimes not the greatest. Of the 8 Cinemusuem Editions I've purchased they are all very good to great. The latest one's the (2017) It I purchased on the aftermarket as well as both the Halloween Full Slip & Lenti look awesome. But there was no way from the BS I would have known the Halloween Slips would have turned out so well. I just don't want to miss out and end up paying what I did for my copy of It (2017) or The Thing which was far to much.

If you` like the "The Thing" movies here a recommendation (This cover is sold out everywhere, but the shop still has it):
The Thing Mediabook

When U don`t know the film and see the slipcover you could think it`s a comedy.

seems to make the movie good for those who know, on the front world of colorful casinos with lights and games, back dark world of gangster dyed red like blood

Seems to me like orange and the same colours are on the front (faces) an by the way the near objects are darker. don`t know - maybe "the glamourous world around the dark world of playing" (that dark roulette on the front and the back shiny and coloured.

The cover looks like Polizieschi - that 70`s crime films from italy
Absolutely nothing wrong with those as I'm sure you'll agree . . . some poliziesco / polizziottesco as good as anything coming from Hollywood such as ALMOST HUMAN, RABID DOGS etc.

As for the CM slip for CASINO I think it's just perfect for the film.

As for comedy I'm sure I'm not alone in enjoying the muffin scene:-

I like the cover (the german release has the same one), I took a red amaray case and I think it looks good. The red of the case and the "Run"-print have almost the same colour.

So the preorder is open, but there's still no photos or 'beauty shots' of the contents, particularly of the 6 cards and a booklet? Can't preorder without seeing what's inside. Not after already buying the EverythingBlu version...

Had to pick this up. Have Everythibg Blu one ordered, so will decide to keep one or the other, or both!

No, I understand, if this was the first such release of this great movie, as was the case with EverythingBlu, I'd grab it blindly too, like I did the EB edition, even though didn't like their slip much.
It's just that after 22 years of collecting, or maybe rather 'hoarding', I got three rooms of discs stacked up to the ceiling, and I don't look at or touch 80% of them for years. I love all the booklets and art cards same as everyone here, but I look at them maybe once, if and when I open the edition. 5 such second, third, fifth copies of a film, and I could buy a new tablet. 10 such useless purchases, and it's a new TV. So why do that, you know?
Plus not having full beauty shots must have an effect, since a 400 copy release still hasn't sold out.
