Was wondering if anyone else had this problem. Happens at the 1:26:36 mark for me. If I skip ahead to about the 1:29 mark its able to play from there. Kinda sucks, but whatever I will replace the disc at some point I guess.

I don't have this one or I would check it for you. Although this one does look pretty nice.

Got a copy today which is for a fellow member in the US and the disc is fudged up at the 1:26.24 mark. Play are refusing to replace the disc only (the steel is mint, no way I am returning it as the chances are a replacement might have paint issues, plus I've read that a member over at avforums has had 7 copies of this and still doesn't have a working disc). No way I'm messing with that hassle.

I've contacted Universal direct so hopefully they can help me out.

You did correct then, when its a disc problem its at the studio end and not the retailer. So Universal will need to make a replacement program for casino disc if the problem is widespread and not isolated. And as you stated above, it seems widespread.

Yeah as HMV ship worldwide they will be more readily available for all, but I presume that they haven't printed anymore and this is just remaining stock.

Seems like Universal only gave 7 months exclusivity to play. Not the best of moves when they seem to have screwed with the master as well.

Is the best version to get of this film at a reasonable price. saw this at my local HMV for £8.99?
