So trueI just don’t get it. It blows my mind. The amount of praise ToC get on their twitter with these designs is disgusting. Honestly they will never learn or change or improve because they only need to look there for their creepy bum liking feedback. With a few idiots even wanting the ToC treatment on every bond and/or every Craig Bond movie. Seriously this company will never change. They are blindsided by twitter and most likely insta. It’s a joke
However isn't that the same here in some aspects?
The amount of times I see someone complain with others for legit reasons then go "...but I'll buy it anyway"
Like...I don't want to be the dick to tell you how to spend your money but why? If it's not good don't buy it or don't buy the new line it's trying to start, for example I hated what they did with the Star Wars ones at Zavvi with that awful disco Vader head and I just didn't buy any of them, it hurt because I've always wanted poster artwork but I stood my ground. If idiots keep praising them and just buying it anyway then companies will never learn.
Fact is if they really wanted a Bond film, even if it was promotional for the new film coming out then why not Dr. No...that's cult.
That's the thing, people that can't think rationally get fooled by the overall image, which is intended, with some of the image on the plastic box overlaying the art of the steel, with the depth, and something shiny and metal 'floating', that gets them buying. As a full package it looks ok but all on it’s own is awful. That poster image is laughable and looks like someone knocked up on windows art
overall package always looks great. lolThat's the thing, people that can't think rationally get fooled by the overall image, which is intended, with some of the image on the plastic box overlaying the art of the steel, with the depth, and something shiny and metal 'floating', that gets them buying.
Hmm, I disagree. Most the time It’s a mismatch of items forming a collage of images that don’t fit together at all. Some are ok as a full package (looking directly at the front of the boxes) Blade runner, Mad max, 2001, this. But that’s about it.overall package always looks great. lol
You are not alone..... so do I . Do I want a folded poster or a pin badge; no thank you. Do I want the steel; yes please.I'm gonna be the odd one out here so go easy on me, but.. I actually like the design
The taste of steel is too strong...
Agreed. But... it's probably too much effort to pack them separately and would most likely just be another excuse for them to raise their prices even more. Personally I'd rather they scrap posters altogether (who has the wall space for them all anyway?) and either replace them with something else, or just lower the price - my preferred option, since the steel and pin is enough for me.
