Steel actually looks quite classy from what I can see, and I honestly reckon they'll make a decent looking package for this overall, but it's the title itself I find a very odd and boring... makes no sense just to do the one Bond film, but then I also wouldn't want to buy the lot lol. Wouldn't surprise me if they eventually team up with Disney and release the entire MCU though, since there's not enough of those on the market already and ToC are clearly becoming more and more about the money over anything else. Shame, since they started off so great IMO.

why is it snobby that ppl dont want a steelbook that has the art of a generic wallpaper?
nowadays you have to accept and like everything, because otherwise it might hurt somebodys feelings oh no :(

downward spiral until all thats left are companies releasing „suboptimal“ steels like this, because why spend more than 5 minutes if it sells out anyways

sh!t, this steelbook should be a xmas present for you guys... it hurts so much seeing your trash collection :(

What ToC SB's do you guys think are actually good? I only really like Fury Road and V for Vendetta (I thought the latter was much better than the WWA one). Goodfellas was ok, although I might have preferred the US steel with the title on the front. Blade Runner was just... weird, recently sold it for good money in anticipation of the Manta release. And Pacific Rim... not the greatest art, but very nice and rare satin finish.
Everything else since then, quite forgettable...

i like v for vendetta steelbook together with the cut-out slip... definitely their best edition imo
2001 is alright i guess.. if you move the steelbook to the front of the slip, its cool

rest „not so good“ imo.. but i didnt buy fury road.. it looks good i suppose

I like their Mad Max too, but BB got the same Steel with a title on the front, so I like that one more :D

I'm not saying you have to like every, but there are ways of saying you don't like something without just being a twat. Just my 2 cents.

I had the same highbrow take until they showed the first images of that me**ed up, ridicolously f***gly embarassment that is the Scott Pilgrim ToC. Always important to keep the commentary classy though!

maybe.. however, i dont know why it would bother anyone that much unless youre ToC or the artists and are expecting some constructive criticism/feedback

it sure doesnt seem like ToC would care about the general opinion in this forum, since they didnt alter their approach at all

they maybe had the benefit of doubt with their first few releases, but at this point its laughable and they deserve the feedback theyre currently getting here

I think the scott pilgrim was a huge miss step for several reasons. But my main annoyance with it was they get a deal with Universal and the very first thing they put out is another fcking scott pilgrim, like a month after the other 4k releases.

And don't get me wrong, I love premiums as much as the next collector. And maybe yeah I am a newcomer to the premium game, but I have been a collector of movies for a long long time and first and foremost I collect because I enjoy owning movies. I know titans of cult isn't what most people would consider premium, and yeah, I think their packaging is not what I would call premium, but they fill a nice slot just above normal steelbooks imo.
