I agree... I would have LOVED to have gotten this steelbook but, as a U.S. citizen, couldn't get it without a GBAny news when Zoom will start shipping their stuff outside UK?
Hopefully this one works...I can't view the above post for some reason but presume it's a pic of the steelbook that arrived today ?
Anyway, my copy arrived today and it's a nice one for the collection although I don't honestly know how wise it is to be pre-ordering these steels at full price if they are going to be reduced shortly afterwards like the STAR TREK 1 - 10 film collection.
Got to report improved steelbook packaging from Zoom - steelbook still in a padded envelope but padded envelope is now inside wraparound cardboard and not thin cardboard envelope![]()
My photos really don't do it justice to be honest... it looks nicer in hand. The yellow parts are what I'm assuming is zero finish (it looks/feels semi-glossed to me), whilst the rest is spot glossed.Looks good
I might get this in next few weeks now that Zoom provide international shipping
The only letdown of the Paramount UK Blu-ray is no extras the USA Warner Blu-ray Steelbook has fantastic extras
I have the USA steelbook but the UK one does look lot better in terms of the steelbook itself beside the UK Disc lacking the extras

I'm very happy to own it and look forward to checking the film out for the first time.![]()
The card is pretty thin/flimsy compared to what we're used to when it comes to full slips... I'd say it's more like the stuff they use for j-cards, rather than the thick card our friends overseas use for premium editions. Thanks for the pics @Noodles. These slipcovers are gorgeous, regardless of the fact the artwork is duplicated on the Steel. Is it card and is it strong?

It's still a nice thing to have though... I look at them as being a free extra, since the prices are mostly the same as what they'd charge for a steelbook alone anyway.
Yeah, it's exactly the same.Is the thickness of the slip the same/very similar to Zavvi's Top Gun or Ferris Bueller's, etc.?
Yeah, it's exactly the same.

The company that makes the slips is for the distributor Universal PicturesThank you. I have a strong feeling the same company is making these slips for both Zoom and Zavvi![]()

Zavvi or Zoom they are just online retailers they don't do any artwork design of the steelbook or slipcase
Paramount Home Entertainment releases are distributed by Universal Pictures in Europe and provide these Paramount and Universal Steelbook Slipcase releases to Zavvi or Zoom
