I could be wrong, but I think it's the artist's signature... Art/Azt/A2t?
I mean...what is wrong with them? Cars are made of metal...steelbooks are made of metal....
It doesn't take a genius to put this together. You make a steelbook that is chromed out like a car.
Maybe an embossed hood on the front. Could have been the first Chromed steelbook.
Opporunity missed.
I think you're right mate. It must be the artists name or something to do with the artwork. I can't see them randomly writing it on the back for no reason!
I love Big John and i like this movie but what the f... is this sh.. ?! I have The Thing Play.com, and Big trouble and They live Zavvi but I would not even spend a dime on something that ugly !

The actual artwork on the front is good IMO... it's just the fact there's nothing on the back that ruins it, which is obviously Sony's decision rather than the artist, who I'm sure could've come up with something really nice had Sony asked.If I was the artist for this artwork I would be embarrassed to put my name on it

I meant the artwork of the whole steelbook, I'm honestly not sure if I like the artwork or not, seeing the entire steelbook as it is, is distracting. This may be the most bizarre steelbook I've ever seen.. that writting on the front taking up almost half of the space is very odd to me.
It might be temp art? I can't imagine this is the final artwork? Problem is that I refuse to buy steelbooks from Amazon Italy until they wake up to the fact that they need to review the way they are sending out steelbooks. Like everyone else I've received too many crushed or severely dented steelbooks from Amazon.it to chance it again.
Loving the idea of a mock advertisement page, but the execution as many have said is completely lacking. There is so much potential for that back cover. I'll probably plum for this because I don't have a Christine steelbook and its in my top 3 movies.

Apparently part of the Project Pop Art collection - which people on here love (LOL) . . . interesting to see if this ends up in the U.K. and despite having just bought this title in the Scanavo / Criterion style clear plastic case from Powerhouse Films as one of their numbered spine "Indicator Series" I'd buy this steelbook of CHRISTINE without a moment's hesitation if/when it becomes available here in the U.K.
