The idea of live action fairy tales seems like an untapped goldmine. Of the Disney Classics, there's been a few attempts at live action versions over the years - Robin Hood and Peter Pan spring to mind. But I bet one could make good money on many of these animated classics. Maleficent was a start. This would be another. But I wonder if Disney feels they missed on on Snow White. Two recent live action moves and neither were Disney

Went Yesterday afternoon... biggest mistake ever! haha :punch:
Our showing was completely packed with kids! Babies too! Crying, Crawling, and Kicking! It was such a horrible movie going experience, I don't know what we were thinking.
Next time with a movie like this, we are doing a LATE SHOW. All the little kiddies will be in bed.

Please note, I don't have a problem with kids... I have a problem with parents bringing little kids to a 2 hour movie when they know they wont be able to make it through the whole thing without wanting to run around, talk, or go into a crying fit!

ok rant over. lol

Movie was very faithful to the animated film. But also gave backstory to the prince and stepmother which was great.
Good ol' Rob Stark FTW!

Finally Miss Drum wanted a double feature afternoon at the cinema with Divergent and this (I kinda needed to change my ideas after that terrible news about Future Shop).

Really enjoyed this Cinderella. Exactly as I was expecting, as the book, great for the eyes, a true Disney live action. Great job for bringing the all-time classic to 2015!

This was pretty average to me. There was nothing wrong or bad about this movie, but nothing really great either.

It really is a kid's/family movie when they hammer in the same theme..."with courage and kindness". I swear they said it at least five times in the movie and twice at the end just for good measure. Cinderella showed plenty of kindness; almost to a fault. But courage? The only courage she showed was defying her stepmother's order and running in heels down huge flights of steps. That theme/slogan was too much for me, but overall this was an enjoyable movie for families and for fans of the animated film.
