To me is kind of strange that you being in France gets FNAC steelbooks that are damaged and I’m in the USA and have never got any steelbook damaged from them; and I have been ordering from them for years….Got mine with paint ship and sctaches..
Direction = Garbage can.
I ordered it an other with Amazon.fr. I will receive it tomorrow..
I live in France and it's a horror how they don't take care about the protection of steelbooks In Fnac.
I Saw a looooooooot of Civil War steelbooks in my Fnac today and i could see a lot of Scratches through the blister, ALL OF THEM, NO EXCEPTION. Just.. no words..
I'm juste cursed mate.. It's the story of my life with steelbooks.
2 weeks ago, i went to an other fnac and i took the steelbook : The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
What a surprise when i removed the blister : DAMAGED, PAINT SHIP and Scratches
SO, DIRECTION GARBAGE CAN - again - and i ordered an other one (on amazon - again - ) and it was fine for the second one.

Same here (also in the US). I almost never receive a damaged steelbook from Fnac. It’s happened, but not often. Received my Civil War steelbook next day delivery and in mint condition.
Received my copy yesterday in Australia and watched it last night.
Note that the default language is French, so you'll need to switch to English in the menu before starting it, also on screen text is in French for this release, but is just showing the distance to the destination, so is easily understood.

It's called being anal-retentive, and seeing things, likely under a microscope, that others don't.
Also known as the cause for companies not taking seriously legitimate damaged requests, or the will to do anything with their packaging.
Is it me or u have a paint ship on the back, there :

Yeah.. I'm maniac in my life (absolutely everything must be clean, tidy, without defects) so it's very difficult when i got a issue with a steelbook.
I always need a steelbook in perfect condition.

Matte finish
I didn’t notice a chip on mine. But honestly, a very small chip to a black finish is usually pretty routine to conceal.
