I'm sticking with the french one for the moment. High chance it'll be glossy, knowing metropolitan, and I prefer that front. The Italian release also doesn't have English atmos, or DV (i think).
I just looked on the Amazon IT site; it is listed as having DV. But audio is listed as English 5.1 DTS (Atmos for Italian audio).

FYI

It is not matte. This one is glossy BUT I am pretty underwhelmed from the print quality overall. print stripes all over :(

Can someone confirm or did I had bad luck with my unit ?

Madness, actually looks streaky matte head on. Really low picture quality then. Shame
Well.. the sharpness and quality picture actually looks alright. i've seen way worse in terms of quality / sharpness of the picture. But either the printer wasn't calibrated or the base steel was bad quality in the first place...

Thats why i wonder if every unit looks like this :( So whenever someone else receives this, let us know.

I think that's how this AI generated $5, 5 second image looks itself.
nah - i work in the print industry and have different prints in front of me every day. that weird stripes remind me of bad homemade inkjet prints.

thats not a problem with the source file rather than the printing process or materials :/

but you are right. this looks like it was AI generated but then edited in details.

I know it looks that way, but what if it was generated to look like a paper print by the dumb AI? :D

I'll double check my copy this evening.

When I first received it I gave it a quick glance and it seemed pretty good with a light gloss finish but the art being a bit dark

Comparing this or the French version with the English debossed steelbook seems like a bad joke.
Except that'll probably be matte (same as green knight), and not everyone is a fan of the horizontal rear, or the lack title on the front. The french steel, assuming it's glossy and has a good rear, may be the best overall imo.

I don't have an issue with the steel itself apart from the artwork being a bit on the dark side. Nice finish (though not ultra glossy)

More problematic is that Dolby Atmos is only present in Italian.
The English track is DTS hdmstr 5.1

Looks like I'll have to buy the UK amaray edition as well

I settled for this one in the end (uses both my favourite posters for the film, is full gloss, and has a clean spine) and after now seeing it hand I feel I definitely made the right choice (for myself at least).

Image quality of the artwork looks perfectly fine to me... just the background having that metallic sheen to it that may make it look a bit LQ in comparison to the sharp and vibrant foreground I guess.
