Just found this, it's a Target online exclusive. It seems to be the same as Future shop.

According to the customer service rep supervisor I spoke with, it should have reserved us a copy of the steelbook once the order was placed. The steelbook listing that is active on the site, is the listing that is linked in my order.

It is NOT the listing below:

So if there is a mess up, it would be at the warehouse level, not at the order system level.

Me neither. Well, I shop at Target a lot ... but still not shipped ... sucks. If I dont get one wow ... I mean I could easily get a hold of the steel, but I want one with target stickers and stuff if it has it.

If it doesnt (have stickers), then I guess I wont be upset if my order doesnt go through lol.

FYI...Got one in mail so far-no Target stickers...not sure if some do have stickers, but just in case...so don't get hosed with someone trying to sell you a Futureshop Edition for an arm an a leg claiming it's some numbered Target ed. It's the same Steelbook...here are my own pics. I *think*the 'Ultraviolet' feature Warner offers is only available in the US right now, so I guess you could know for sure if you were getting the US version if it had that sticker. Just be careful with all of the BS that is sure to follow on Ebay....

Hey Ash, no prob For me, personally I honestly just wanted to support the G2 sale in the US, which is the only reason I purchased this particular Steelbook. I usually don't do that if I dont really have an interest in the movie itself (this was originally just a rental for me). But hopefully it adds in a small way, to the chorus of US Steelbook collectors who would like to see more G2's released at US retailers.

Packaging was brown cardboard envelope that you have to open (has a peel down center). No padding at all.

Ouch. I think one at a time it can withstand damage, but Target will probably ship 2 or 3 in one of those which doesn't bode well for the steelbooks

Another sign that the US has a lot to catch up on for steelbooks. But hey Amazon.com is actually primed and ready to go with the learnings of their sibling sites.

Maybe Wreck could share why Target.com got this instead of Amazon.com as this whole deal, as it stands, could be pie in Target's face. Maybe Walmart's fubar with the Battle:LA's shipping took it out of the running.
