I can't believe there isn't a thread in here strictly for Beer. Well now there is.

So I'm going to Phoenix and this store is about 3 miles from the house I am renting. I need some recommendations of beer they sell. I'm looking for Hoppy beers please. I've had a few of them they sell but not allot. HELP ME OUT!

Thanks

BoB

I noticed. I'll catch it someday. I don't feel like driving to Chicago. Last year, they had a location going in Kansas City, which is about a 4 or so hour drive from me. I don't think it even sold out.

I'm really excited that Schlafly decided to make more of their Bourbon Barrel Quad! I saw a pic of two barrels on Facebook, so I'm assuming that would come out to a little over 400 bottles this time. This stuff is so freaking good! It is one of my all time favorites, and was doing whatever I could to get more. I'm still really happy that I was able to get 2 bottles of the original 204.

Seriously considering attending Zwanze Day in Louisville. My sister lives about 1.5 hrs west of there. Plus West Lakeview in Chicago is sure to be crowded, albeit the bottle share would be equally busy.

Cantillon - Lou Pépé Framboise :ordered::oohyeah:
then I filled the box with some other beers

i filled my car with these :p

But the bottle share would probably have tons of good stuff. The share in Louisville will probably be really good too.

4 cases?!?

Am I being an ass if I try and trade my 2008 FiftyFifty Eclipse (Pappy) for a full case of 2012 Bourbon County? It's pretty goddamn rare but I don't really want to be disappointed by it and would rather get a whole lot of a beer I love.

I wouldn't think so. It never hurts to throw the offer out there, and if no one goes for it, just tweak it a little. Where are you wanting to try and trade it (BeerAdvocate, RateBeer, something local)?

I'm not sure what that beer has been trading for since I haven'treally sseen it but I'd be surprised if there were many people who still had a full case of 2012 bcbs.

You could always try for a slightly less rare beer plus a four pack or two of bcbs. The 2012 actually lasted on shelves for awhile this last time around so it wasn't as "valued" as much in the trading world. Doesn't not make it a phenomenal beer tho!

Good luck!

BA. Honestly, the big reason I don't want to bother is to avoid the imminent thread-******** I would probably get. The ISO:FT forum has become a giant craphole the last few years.

Yeah, the 15% 2012 Fall release is easily my favorite regular BCBS ever. I guess I was banking on the increased distribution and people ending up with way more than they planned on.

Thanks fellas, appreciate it :).

Oh and Raspor - Nice haul!
