I can't believe there isn't a thread in here strictly for Beer. Well now there is.

So I'm going to Phoenix and this store is about 3 miles from the house I am renting. I need some recommendations of beer they sell. I'm looking for Hoppy beers please. I've had a few of them they sell but not allot. HELP ME OUT!

Splax - nice pick up of the Sucaba. I've got one aging in my basement right now. I'm really looking forward to Firestone Walker's Wookie Jack, a black rye IPA. Should hit out here sometime this month.

the only thing thats missing is the 3F Oude Gueze Golden Blend that i should get next week. but i was able to substitute it for another belgian beast that i found out last night was being released today!! never had a cantillon before, very excited to be able to try one

also got a case of the new glarus IIPA, my FAVORITE ipa/dipa. drinking one right now, love it!

been a great beer week, and i go to my first official beer tasting next week where im sure ill get to sample some great brews, so next week will be great too, haha

i wouldnt worry too much about it. they are tripling how much they make of it next year, should be pretty easy to get next year.

i got a big group purchase of some sours coming in sometime in the next month or so. ill post a pic when it all comes in, but im pretty excited!

I didn't realize Founders Brewery is only a 3 hour drive. I wish I could try the KBS before even thinking about the trip.

I see KBS on ebay for $50 for 2 so I am very tempted to buy being that I can't get a hold of any where I live.

Didn't know you could buy beer on ebay. For $25 a bottle I think I will wait till next year and see if my local Liquor store can pick it up.

Great weekend!!! got me some DL and another BA Dark Lord!!!!! Between our group we got the every varient so we are gonna do a tasting in the near future. Should be a good time. Also got a case of Zombie Dust but my buddy had to bring it back because we didnt have enough room. That will be here later tonight!

Nice haul. I heard that cognac DL was amazing. I had a couple of my local beer guys go up there, and they popped open a bottle. One of my coworkers went up there and he said he was going to try and get me a DL and one of the variants. I'll find out later today. ***Edit*** Just found out he was able to get me one of the regular bottles of DL.

I did have a new beer this weekend. It is 8-bit from Tallgrass Brewery out in Manhattan, KS. It's a hoppy pale ale that comes in a 4pk of pint cans. I liked it. I even had to dig out the old NES.
