I worked with a local car bodyshop actually as I wanted 2K Lacquer clear coat which is very unsafe to be inhaling and I'm not knowledgeable on safety precautions, I just understand its not at all safe! I run a small business so I did some of my personal collection as a test run but I plan on selling some eventually!
There are some threads here from years ago where a number of us were glossing up steels. Some with spray gloss some with paint etc. cant recall all the different methods, but many. Some turned out well.
