Custom SteelBooks Designs - Post Your Own Concept Art!

DUDE! you need to start selling these designs to one of these retailers!! Many people on here would buy them instantly!! Please contact FA or something and send them your concepts!
Thanks dude! If it only it were that easy though. :sorry:

As I'm stipulated before studios decide what artwork can and cannot be used and that's set in stone. Frustrating yes, annoying yes. It's rare that studios allow a designer to do what they want. In fact you have more chance of winning the lottery than being allowed to do your own thing by a studio.

I know it ...
I have the same dream ... I want released my concepts ... But way how contact studios is very hard.
But we never stop!!!!
It would obviously be great to see our concepts come to life, but personally I just make them for fun.

So long as you enjoy making them, then that's all that really matters IMO. :)

@Noodles

Hi
Where did you find the mockups (full slip, cards, steelbook…) because that different on OP. Is it homemade?
I make them myself from scratch... apart from the steelbook, which is the mock-up below but with my images cropped over the top.

I've been tempted to create my own steelbook template though, so that it makes things easier in the long run. Maybe I'll get around to it some day and share it with you guys. ;)

Second artwork: Again a 70's classic movie ;)
Approved by Tobe Hooper. He's a VERY nice man. I met him in Paris for the 40th anniversary of his film last year.
Very cool!

Would you believe me if I said I've never seen the film? I even bought the blu-ray a few years ago, yet still haven't got around to watching it yet. :ohno:

Thanks @Noodles

This film is a Masterpiece.
Actually it's a ironic critic of the American society.
The "horror style" is just "a way to sell" the movie for the audience… said Hooper himself

The best (and only) choice for the blu-ray is the 40th Anniversary Edition released last year (worldwide).

I'll try and check it out soon! I've heard nothing but great things about it over the years. :)

I'm not sure which edition of the film I have to be honest... I think it's the Ultimate Edition. If I enjoy the film enough, then I'll be sure to replace my old copy with the 40th Anniversary Edition - I see there's a steelbook for it! :D
