blind bought this tonight and watched it. with the exception of a couple of pretty pathetically acted scenes I really enjoyed this flick. It's a new take on the Vampire lore where the whole human race, with the exception of a few, has basically been turned into vampires and the rest are being collected up and used for harvesting their blood. There's a nifty twist at the end that was really badly revealed but i will still be going back to this at some point and watching it again. I must admit, I'm a bit of a sucker (pun completely intended) for the vampire genre and having one of my fav. actors in it (Sam Neil) doesn't hurt it's rating either.

I watched this on Friday and I agree completely. I think it could have used just a bit more action. Otherwise it was a pretty good movie and I'm usually not a fan of Ethan Hawke.
