a bit harsh comment IMO.

how many steels have zavvi announced and then cancelled. plenty.

spectre cock up. well as far as I'm aware it wasn't FA's fault that so many of those steels were damaged.

FA is far more reliable company than zavvi. let me tell you incident I had with your beloved zavvi. shipping to Finland had been free for years, suddenly zavvi forced me to pay 9.99 for every shipment. I wrote them. asked them. no reply. and at the same time my Finnish friends enjoyed free shipping. and then suddenly it stopped. BUT I payed over 150 € for shipments that should have been free. never got reply or anything. fu.k em !

...basils not that helpful fox IMO.

ps. your order is fine. but many others not. does that make zavvi excellent place to buy. they throw dice whos order is cancelled and whos not ...
To be fair Filmarena (prior to releasing FACs) would regularly announce steelbook releases very early only to end up cancelling them later on.

Pretty sure they're the same right?
Yes, more same than different:
- Same artwork.
- UK edition not available to order at this time, Italy edition available and certainly cheaper @GBP 17.53 + P&P (instead of the Zavvi price of GBP 22.49 before discount code).
- Amazon. It reportedly uses a basic A1 cardboard mailer for dispatch although I've read that they sometimes put the steel inside a padded envelope before placing in the cardboard envelope (although how that package would fit inside a standard-size mailer is puzzling). Zavvi's white cardboard boxes have carried hundreds of steels to my front door without incident.
- Obvious differences with the j-card (no certification stamps and language other than English).
- Both to be released around the same time (the middle of June).
- U.K. edition according to the BBFC "This work was passed uncut" and I presume the Italian edition is likewise uncut.
- Apparently over 3 hours of Extras plus four, yes, four, audio commentaries on the U,K, edition - unfortunately, unable to find info on the Extras and Commentaries on the Italian edition.

Looks like I was quite wrong about the possibility of this steelbook having a shared print run with HMV as HMV are now showing their own exclusive - in this case an Amaray in a slipcover with exclusive "Deadpool" Artcards (due out same time as Zavvi's steelbook) in a package currently priced @GBP 14.99.
The same style DVD package is priced @GBP 9.99 - also with 4 Artcards - but haven't the foggiest idea if it's the same 4 cards as with the Blu-ray or a different 4 . . .
Looks to be the same package as the U.S. Target Exclusive apart from the lack of a DVD - what a surprise . . . not - and only 4 Artcards instead of 8 with the Target.

Not sure how many times I have to mention this but ordering from Italy to the UK does not work out cheaper if you used a discount code for the zavvi version, and I imagine the majority used a discount.
My order from zavvi is £20.69 and with the exchange rate for Italy comes to roughly £20.80 at the moment and may change depending on exchange rates at the time. If you didn't use a discount code on the zavvi version then yes Italy should work out cheaper. You need to make that clear!

I didn't realise Hmv exclusive has artcards though which is cool. Shame the steel don't come with them

Got a feeling i'm going to miss out on this and end up getting one from fleabya. Got a pre-order on but I've moved house and my card has changed and Zavvi won't/can't do anything. Annoys the hell out of me really.

Not like the old days - you have to pay for itnow (starts about £50, I think), and it doesn't even happen all at once!!
@Rogue, the payment isn't an issue; that's at least one area Zavvi have got at least half right; they tag your order with ''there was a payment problem' or some such - and you can put in your new payment details and it's sorted.

I know you can't update address details normally, but I wonder if you can add an address at the same time as changing the card details once there's a payment issue.

Don't think you can, had to change a card last year and I don't remember seeing an option for address.
Also the site don't know when your address expires
