How are Zavvi with card changes? I preordered this but my card expires at the end next month & I'll be putting a new one on the system. Will they just charge that new card or am I screwed?

I've had this before, when it comes to dispatch time you should get an e-mail saying payment problem, you should then be able to go to your account and open orders and change your card details :thumbs:

You can still change your card details for your order but you have to wait until they send you a payment problem email

They will try to use your expired card and when the payment fails zavvi will then send you an email with a link that has the option to pay with a different credit/debit card

You cant update an existing order and change card details like you can with amazon but you can use a different card when they send you the payment problem email

No need to cancel an order just wait for the payment problem email
 
With me they didn't but that was a while ago,dunno how it works now, can't seem to cancel anything on there now either.
Hope manta show us somethin before this releases

I've written zavvi twice now and told them to cancel the order. I have a weird feeling they will not cancel it :D

Same thing happened when I need to cancel a copy of the Jungle book. this has been a problem now for a couple of weeks. I had to send them a message instead and they cancelled that way for me

Hopefully its not a case that they just cancel my order & they email about a payment problem instead. I've one or two things ordered for June & I'd hate to lose out on them just because my card expired.
 
My concern is that Zavvi are monitoring cancellations all round. This will indefinitely delay cancellations and create problems going forward.

Perhaps this is a discussion better suited in the Retailer thread.
 
Just tried on my computer and the problem is also showing. How do we cancel our order then?
Use the Contact us option and choose you want to cancel an order
It will then send a message to Zavvi and 24-48 hours later you will find out if your cancel is successful
As long as they not charged you debit/credit card by the time they look into your request it will be fine

Seriously, dude, you want to cancel what is in all probability a very nice-looking steelbook?
Not my business, of course . . . and the way I do it is:
- Log in to your account
- Click "View" on the order you wish to cancel
- Click "Contact us" on the new page that comes up
- Click a Tick in the small box next to the picture of the item you have chosen to cancel on this new page and under "2. Tell us more" "Select an issue" and "Select one" from the drop-down box - in this case "I want to cancel my order". Go to "3. Contact us" further down on the same page to "Send an online message" explaining what you would like to happen.

The steel looks nice indeed but it's WWA and my preorder is atm 32€ and it's already been announced here in Spain for 19€ (and I also have the preorder on AmazonIT for 26€). I'm not a fan of spending more money because of potato. That's why I want to cancel this order. But I'm getting the steel elsewhere.
