Deadwood series

I've never seen an episode of this show. It looks intriguing and is on sale right now.

Any of you seen this and would it be a good blind buy for $95?

We watched it on HBO, and we loved it!! Just don't watch with the kiddies around. Very violent and every other word is f**k or some form of it. But in all a great series which ended way to soon.....

i loved this show,watched my dvd's over & over again.like bighorns said,lot's of swearing & i mean lot's.but's it's very well writen,once you start watching you won't be able to stop.

I saw half of season 1 and I thought it was good enough to blind buy.

I like all HBO shows but only bad thing about Deadwood is that it got cancelled.

It's hard to understand why some HBO shows get cancelled. I never seen this but for $95 I'm considering a blind buy as well. My buddy swears by this show.

Since it got cancelled, did the last season end just hanging? Or did they actually wrap it up?

Thanks for the input guys. I was really looking to pick this up but the swearing you guys mentioned in the show has tampered my interest. I like to watch movies loud and my kids are awake most of the time. I've been a bad enough influence on them as it is. What to do, what to do.

It's been a short while since your last post, but did you get it?? If so, how do you like the show?? I'm still waiting for the price to drop, but I did own the DVD set before and this show is one of my favorites.

i got this used place near my store i work at called CeX and they always get these HBO series. but since i really want this they have yet to get it. but when they do it'll be like 50 bucks so i indeed have to wait or else i'll buy it and then it would show up there
