The shattered glass effect is actually kind of cool. Would have been even better with the Nakatomi Plaza in the bakground imo

Not impressed. It seems like they are trying to hard to make it look "cool". But what about Die Hard?... You know... the movie we all love?

Front: WTH is up with his eyes? Where is the classic John McClane smirk?

Back: Uh. Very cool looking, I guess. But what on earth does that have to do with Die Hard?

Inside: Argyle is fine, but the bear? For real? The disc is on the right. You open up your new Die Hard steelbook, and you see... a big fluffy bear with a red scarf? That was in the movie for like... 2.7 seconds.

And where is Hans!!!? The greatest villain of the decade and instead we get a teddy bear?

Does this steelbook capture the movie well? Unfortunately I really can't say it does.

You nailed it mate.

Looks like we got lot of gamers and young members in the forum who probably haven't watched the movie but prefer cool looking artwork.:ohno:

I really like it, although I do think it looks a bit too clean and "modern" for the film.
I love it. It suits a 2013 release. :D Didn't expect it to be this good.

I definitely prefer this than having the same artwork used 1034 times in the past 30 years.

Looks like the art came out of the collection set.

Maybe if they release them all with corresponding artwork it will look much better :D

Now that you mention it, it does look like the kind of artwork you'd see used for a game. So I think you've got me there... I'm a gamer, which is probably why I like it so much. :p

I agree... it's good to see something different/new. :)

That back art with the "bullet" will always bother me :hilarious: It's a shell casing and not the actual bullet. Why would someone stick a shell casing in a bullet hole :wtf:

Not liking that artwork at all.... such a shame as the original theatrical poster would've been great as a steelbook
