Ok start listing the Disney classics you would like to see in steelbook (in the UK) that are NOT pixar titles.

Once this thread is big enough we will take the best options and run a poll to give "the powers that be" a better look at the numbers in regards to popularity.

That's a perfectly good reason not to vote for it. It's a poor reason to suggest it shouldn't even be considered.

This is a thread for people to suggest what Disney Classics they want to see as a UK steel. If they want to suggest Wreck-It-Ralph, that's absolutely fine. If they don't want to suggest Wreck-It-Ralph, then that's equally fine. Let's leave it at that.

Voted for The Little Mermaid. It's both a great film, and an important one from the history of Disney Animation Studios. It marks the first time since Don Bluth left the company that they were able to compete with Bluth's own animated releases, and of course marks the beginning of what is now often called the 'Disney Renaissance'. Thrilling stuff.

@Sigill: Wreck has intimated that a few of those poll options may in fact be void. Perhaps if he can give confirmation it may be worthwhile to amend the options so that nobody ends up 'wasting' their vote?

I came here to vote and it took me a good few minutes deciding, so 3 votes would be good as theres just too many to pick one!

After this first one, I think it'd be awesome to set up a poll of the entire list of Disney Classics, with the ability to choose as many as we liked. Sort of like a "which ones would you actually buy?" poll. Because it's very hard to choose a single one, as I'd literally be buying every single choice here. I went with Peter Pan for now, though.

Wow. Only 1 title? I see this is being worked on, but that is almost impossible to pick just one.

If I was told that I HAD to limit it to 10 choices, I would choose (in no particular order):

The Little Mermaid
The Jungle Book (This was my 1 pick)
Robin Hood
Alice in Wonderland
Tangled
101 Dalmations
Sword in the Stone
The Great Mouse Detective
The Emperors New Groove
The Rescuers Down Under


And for the record... The Rescuers Down Under is a much better movie than The Rescuers.

I'd love ALL Disney classics to get steel treatment, starting with The Little Mermaid and Fantasia

Then all the titles that didnt get steel treatment elsewher (ie no Snow White, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty as the US already have released steels of these)
