Ok start listing the Disney classics you would like to see in steelbook (in the UK) that are NOT pixar titles.

Once this thread is big enough we will take the best options and run a poll to give "the powers that be" a better look at the numbers in regards to popularity.

re-releases are lame and no other artwork of lion king could mess with the asian one.
i only would get one if it's in some kind related with the other uk disney releases (matching spine artwork over all disney steels would be awesome).

Ooo so hard to choose one, but went with jungle book, apart from the fact that I pretty much alway end up humming 'that' song every day at some point....oooobedo.. I love the film, and it's my sons fav so went with his choice,

Seeing as the UK have had no Disney classics, The Lion King would not be a re-release... It's a re-release for you because you choose to buy worldwide but I think the poll proves that there are a lot of people that don't see it the same way as you do.

Ahhh, you must be one of those late comers who missed out on all the GOOD stuff and now you want EVERYTHING re-released so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it...Disney or not, I don't care. NO RE-RELEASES!

Re-releasing the same movies over and over again makes people feel like they are getting cheated. I was lucky enough to get most of them at cost went they first came out, I would feel really bad if someone paid premium $ just for them to get re-released again. What's the point? All the Disney steels that have already been released look BEAUTIFUL!

Ummm yeah buddy...welcome to the steelbook world. Most of the purchases we have all made have been worldwide. Especially here in the U.S since we JUST started to get steels.

Why are so many people choosing the Lion King!?!?!? I thought this was a poll for what people WANTED not what they already have...C'mom guys NO RE-RELEASES! there is already a steelbook AND an VMB for the Lion King!! and the Steelbook is AMAZING! let's get's some FRESH, NEW movies to add to our collection!!!

re-releases will come around soon enough, get the steel's re-released then.

Though that does cancel out all pixar titles, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White, Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella (forgive me if I'm forgetting some of the infamous US Disney steels)

Can we keep this thread on topic folks. Please be respectful of each others opinions. We have all different types of collectors here, arguments do not help the thread. This is simply for stating which steelbooks you would like to see released n the UK regardless of whether the title has been releases elsewhere.

You don't have to buy worldwide, you just have to go on UK ebay or wherever you're from and pick it up quite easily. Bringing out the Lion King again would be a complete waste of time, in my opinion.

I agree to trying to get a fresh title released in steel. Disney is obviously getting back into the "Steelbook" scene so there will probably be more opportunity for them to re-release a popular title like Lion King down the line. But for now I say lets try to get a hefty catalog of all Disney movies instead of getting the same ones. Jungle Book for me since its the front runner. Lets make the studios decision for the next steel an easy one guys.

While I'd definitely prefer to see the films that haven't gotten any kind of steel release at all get first priority (as they will most certainly be bigger sellers worldwide, just like Aladdin), I would buy re-releases GIVEN that they had better artwork. That said, I'm surprised there are so many voting for Lion King, seeing as how there are plenty of different options to get a Lion King steel right now, UK or not. I agree that it would be a waste of time. But, to each their own.

Surprised that Peter Pan isn't getting more votes. Come on people! Peter Pan will be the first one going back into the vault, and so we'd have to wait at least another 5 or 6 years for it if it doesn't get one this year!

Also, Jungle Book is one we'll have to wait at least a year for, since it won't be released from the vault until then. I feel like boosting it up right now is not the right time.

Totally disagree! Just because you want your Steelbooks to hold value. A true collector would want more choices and welcome new additions. You my friend are just wanting to feel special because you have certain titles! Am from theUK the only steels I have order outside my country are Japanese batman and dark knight. I would welcome any NEW UK release whether its on your collection or not! Stop being selfish! Not everyone has loads of moeny to waste on Steel cases for god sake!
