3D disc included is fine, even for us non-3D collectors... just so long as "3D" is nowhere to be found on the steelbook itself. (jcard is fine)

Studios like plastering '3D' all over 3D releases, it's a USP. I don't think it's likely you'd get one without the other. :(

Good point about the 3D label. Maybe they could put it in a sticker label on a front corner of the plastic or something for display purposes? I definitely wouldn't want it on the steel itself.

I voted Dinosaur. I love that film and while it may not be a classic like the rest of the Disney films listed, it definitely deserves some form of special packaging rather than just the plain ol' amaray it's received. A Steelbook, slipcover, Digibook... anything!!!

It's an excellent idea, and one that may be possible with enough community support; perhaps you should suggest the idea to Wreck.

I'd add a caveat: If Disney viewed (for example) 'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Little Mermaid 3D' as separate titles with regards to marketing, they may be unwilling to budge on the issue.

this art in steelbook, glossy and embossed would be awesome

Exactly the artwork I had in mind. Hopefully they would re-think the sideways title however! ;)

Wow can't believe how good Jungle Book is doing, love the movie, and a steelbook would be amazing, but I am thinking because The Little Mermaid is gonna be out soonish, that will be the next to see steelbook treatment.

I want them all but my favorits are

The Fox and the hound
The jungle book
Winnie the pooh
Robin hood
Dumbo

Everybody who has children knows how speciel all the Disney classics are I love watching Them with my Two daughters

Come on. Hunchback! Hercules! Fantasia! Pinocchio! I think an Atlantis steelbook could be pretty good, if they used the two-part cardboard slipcover from the Collector's Edition as a reference. A bluish metallic finish, with bubbles and that Atlantis symbol in the middle.

So now that the poll is closed, here are the standings. Not too surprised by any of these. I think the biggest one I was expecting to see higher would be Winnie the Pooh. I'm surprised there isn't more interest in that one.

Jungle Book - 236
Little Mermaid - 203
Peter Pan - 191
Tangled - 165
Tarzan - 162
Robin Hood - 161
Dumbo - 154
101 Dalmatians - 148
Hercules - 142
Mulan - 135
Sword in the Stone - 123
The Aristocats - 114
Pocahontas - 110
Bolt - 109
Hunchback of Notre Dame - 107
Lilo and Stitch - 107
Fox and the Hound - 95
The Rescuers - 87
Emperor's New Groove - 80
Great Mouse Detective - 70
Black Cauldron - 62
Winnie the Pooh - 58
Dinosaur - 56
Oliver and Company - 55
Brother Bear - 54

I would totally love to see the Walt Disney Treasures debuting on Blu in double (alpha?) steelbook cases. The US one of course, didn't really like the layout of the UK ones or the slim cases. And instead of having 4 Donald Duck volumes they could have 2, and 1 Mickey Mouse in Black and White, 1 complete Silly Symphonies and 1 Mickey Mouse in Living Colour. I keep all the tins in a cardboard box, but the actual cases look great on the shelf. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit would look stunning as a steelbook as it has a gold finish. The blue cardboard bands/slipcovers on top of that...

This will never happen though.
