Mine has arrived but i cant seem to upload the image. J card is glued to the back sighhhh. Also mine has like some sort of air bubble on the front which is causing me to be able to press the cover in and out. Mine is from zavvi btw

I have this same air pocket/bubble problem :( Is there a fix for this? Or should I try and find another copy?

I'm hoping I get mine today :scat:

Bizarre, it went from sorry it's not expected until the end of the week to we're now despatching your steelbook.

It's because of the emboss/deboss. Pretty much all of the embossed/debossed steelbooks do the same thing, including the expensive ones.

Thanks :) I did pop into HMV and checked all of their stock and they are all the same so I feel a lot better about it. Was thinking maybe a couple of books on top would fix it but I wont bother now to stop the possibility of damaging the embossing.

I wouldn't do that! It's is the embossing/debossing that must cause a weakness in the steelbook. Cowboys and Aliens was the same, that had a weak spot where you could push it in and out, a lot of other steels have this issue too.

Picked this up today and I must admit I prefer the FS one in the flesh, even without the embossing.

I don't like the black border on this, I would have preferred a continuation of the red.

Anyone else notice how pin sharp the print is on this? On a lot of steelbooks when you look close you can see the DPI that make up the image and some really small details can get lost. Not on this one. Just look at the broken chain links on the Django silhouette and all the fine strands of grass on the bottom. Really impressed, seems a really high res image was used.

Such a shame that the metal used was little thicker than tin foil. Mine bends incredibly easily, probably the worst i've seen. Maybe it is worse because it is only a one disc edition. With a disc holder behind the front cover it may have felt a bit more sturdy. This was a missed opportunity, with thicker material and a glossy finish, it would've been superb. Don't get me wrong I still think it looks great, but it could've been so much better.
