Looks 100% identical to the US SB.

I hope that the UK steel is better looking though. I guess the US version looks better in hand (hopefully I'll know soon enough), but I really would prefer the glossy treatment on Django!

Maybe the release date for UK is so far off coz its different somehow (don't take away the bonus disc and call it different though :hilarious:). Embossed/debossed/glossy, any and all of these will serve us well :)

It's all a matter of opinion when it comes to QT, I actually think Jackie Brown is his best and most under appreciated film but they're all very different and great in their own way. Django is no exception. :)

yeah I expect Django to be right up there, I think Death Proof is his most underrated movie though I enjoyed it but I know it gets a lot of hate;)

I'm still not sure about this. I'll wait for pics after release as it isn't exclusive and don't want to buy blind. Needs to be really good at 2h 45! I Struggle with long films.

Think this could be a easy pass for me.

On the hunt for Drive.

I hope this steelbook will have a better treatment than the US target steelbook... Embossed etc...

This is released by Sony in the UK right? Sony steels have been pretty good quality in the past, and the upcoming Taxi Driver is looking good which is also sony. So hopefully this will at least be glossy and would be nice if it was embossed too

its the global run ... supposed to look the same. The only real question with the global run is will some Country spice it up a bit more. ie. gloss ...or embossing. Kinda like how "Jaws" was where it differed in a couple Countries.

Perhaps the early US release date prevented the US steelbook from getting one extra trimming that would be suggested by the artwork - embossing. The release date lag in this case bodes well for the other countries :p
