If the Indian release is anything to go by (and it usually is), it should be debossed (title, chain and characters). Expect a very thin steel though..

Yeah, the uk one would be the only sony release without embossing. I highly doubt it. Hope ama ships soon. Can't wait to get this in hand.

Thanks very much for the info! Just rang my local store and they will be getting 25 copies, so I'll cancel my Amazon order and go pick a minty fresh copy and avoid the demon spine slasher!

I had a sainsburys preorder at £15.99, but cancelled as I was not convinced by the "new film" text. I may feel differently if I can have a look at it in hand.

Yes it is true as i have personally seen it on their system. HMV have now decided to compete with their rivals esp with newer releases. Just visit any of their stores and look at the price reductions on many of their titles....good example being the Lord of the Rings extended bluray boxset which now sells for only £24 and recently Life of Pi steelbook for 21.99. I personally think we should suppprt HMV in such instances when we can. They are our only retail store where we are able to handpick our steelbooks esp for the wider releases.

I have 2 quite close to me. The closest one (2 miles) was due to shut, however it got a reprieve and is trading normally now.
There is something to be said about being able to pop into a shop and cherry pick the best Steelbook from the shelves, no waiting, no risk of a dent and certainly no spine slashes.

yeah its always nice to have the option to pop into hmv, my nearest wasn't even that close but it was easy to get to, there's a couple more but there just too far away.
