I never thought I'd say it but I wish I'd ordered from zavvi. Amazon probably won't ship till Monday. The things I do to save 2 quid. And if zavvi packaging continues being same style as Star Trek came in ill use them more regular from now I think.

Are they that good then? Compared to Plays? Pics please?

And youve saved the hassle if you have to return it - worth it for an extra day or twos wait imo!

Went to HMV in Sheffield city centre today,and asked them how many steelbooks they are getting in.the guy said quite a few.cant decide if I should cancel my Amazon order,and goto HMV at 9am on my work break.HMMM

Just checked, you're right, guess I haven't been paying attention. I have an excel file with all my preorders and I still had the 6/3 release date next to this

I do too. In order of release date, it calculates any foreign currency (most are GBP, some Euro) into estimated USD and lumps dates together as one sum so I know how much is coming out of my account on each date. Currently, I have 15 different pre-orders placed.

These days Amazon usually only dispatches before release if your a Amz Prime member or payed extra for delivery.. They always post on release date for me :/

I can't get to HMV until Wednesday anyway, so I think I'll just keep my Amazon order

Very true, I'm a Prime member, they post mine on a Sat/Sun for delivery Mon.....99% of the time!

I notice that the front cover artwork has changed to have a thick black border. I for one dislike this, and much prefer the original full cover artwork! There's absolutely no reason why this should have a black border, and it makes the cover look cheap and mis-matched with the back artwork

I'm hoping that all is not what it seems, and that the bottom and top are just the J-card covering the main artwork, although this does not excuse the black borders on either side of the cover

the black border will be the embossed/debossed "Frame"! So it makes sense (if you like it or not is different!)...
The black border on the US Steelbook for Django did NOT make sense imo

Its clearly the J card, come on?!! Just like Taken 2. The black border on the steel will work with the embossing. Job done

"Front has a debossed frame with the DJANGO UNCHAINED title , the chain running down the front and the two figures all embossed - very well done.
Just a wrap around paper cover which will leave the front clean of all logos.
Multi region on the rear too".
