bah! I knew it! Thank you EOne for ruining another steelbook with a bi-lingual spine!
At least I saw this coming.

I'm just remembering Inglorious Basterds and how the art was pretty much the same everywhere but Canada. :ohno:

Personally, I think this design is great - maybe show studios that they should vary it up a little. ;)

Target exclusive is the best of the bunch.

1. Better back and inside with the characters
2. Bonus Blu-ray disc
3. No foreign texts.

And half arrive damaged to customers because they put them in the spider protectors or alpha cases in store and ship damaged ones out. :ohno:

But hey, they probably printed a crap ton, so everyone should be able to get a good one. :p

I am getting this but I will say this - only three colors used in this design: Red, black and white. Minimal design or cost saving?

Typically steelbooks with smaller variations of color are cheaper to produce.

I believe Wreck has stated previously a title like MIB 3 was super cheap to print.

I'm sure many will like global better when holding both in hand. However if you like rare then this obvioulsy will have less qty vs. the global. I know the forum is pretty split on those who like rare vs. those who dont care ... but lets keep it civil in this thread.

The fact that someone has produced a different steel regardless of whether you will get it or not is just great for steelbook collectors in the whole.

I wasn't too keen when I saw the artwork. But when I referred back to Target, Uak etc, I think this looks much better.

Personally I don't like the border on the UK release.

Wreck, do you know the finishes on both of these? Just curious as to why you think most will like the global better (kinda hoping for glossy and 'bossing!).
