I'm not really sure this thread or the OPs avatar are appropriate topics. This topic is definitely culturally based and could get us into arguments.
Please tell me we haven't gotten so fu*&ing sensitive!!!
I wouldn't say sensitive, however when you start to discuss things that are culturally different people can sometimes feel like you are attacking them personally if you disagree with their cultural beliefs, especially if the person is a follower of said belief.
Much like the forced cultural custom of women wearing burqas or even a more extreme example of female genital mutilation. All of those are accepted and practiced beliefs that westerners don't subscribe to.
I just think it's a tricky topic.

its an odd topic no doubt, but i cant really see this getting out of hand even though it can be controversial.
unless someone out there is trolling the interweb for marriage forums, i dont see any of the locals getting upset with this. here, we only get pissed at campers and caliblue
