I like it, but would've preferred one of the official posters for the artwork. No doubt this won't receive any special 'bossing treatment either, even though the artwork is screaming for it. Oh well, as usual they'll probably release a much better steelbook for the film a few months after this one anyway. :greedy:

Why? Latest Marvel steelbooks got some em/debossing, I don't see why this one should be different
Correct. Cannot think of any WWA Marvel steelbook without embossing.
I said "special treatment" for a reason... debossing and spot-glossing a crack on a matte steelbook (Civil War) doesn't make it anything special IMO. This needs to be full gloss with border embossing, otherwise it's going to look really dull.

^ BACK ARTWORK: I'd hope for one of these three from PAUL SHIPPER - the man of the moment - the man already responsible for the front artwork on two upcoming steelbooks - PIRANHA and SUPER MARIO BROS. - so a hat-trick would be ace.
Any one of his three poster designs for DOCTOR STRANGE would sit well on the back and would look homogenous with the front with some of the same colouring:-
any of those on the rear would be perfect

really hope the FNAC one is the front we get

To be fair all the others have decent bossing/ gloss etc except civil war.

I can imagine this will be bossed to the eyeballs! (I hope)

To be fair, the eye is in a couple of the original posters for the film:-

Regarding the finish: if I had to hazard a guess I'd say matte with spot gloss to the eye.

WWA makes no difference to me, every steelbook looks the same behind Novamedia lenticulars:drool:. It doesn't hurt that I actually really like the WWA art though
