what!! i thought their pics shows title in the spine..
Well Bestbuy never displayed spine photo, but I get what you mean, Zavvi and a couple of other sites had mock up photos with title on the spine.
If I'm able to get my hands on a copy tomorrow, maybe I'll try to create a spine title on my own. Time to buy some clear sticker paper.
At the very least, the spine matches the aesthetic of the rest of the steelbook. Faces of the cast would have look
There's a whole display just for Dr. Strange and plenty of stock for both Steelbooks. 4 rows deep each. Some areas will definitely not sell out today.
I am disappointed that the Best Buy version doesn't have embossing on the back. For $30, it would've been nice to get the same embossing as the European and UK versions.
I grabbed the Taiwan edition as it looks like a great Finish and it does not have a Title on the Spine, but this makes it look more like the real book in the movie.
A Title on the Spine is often desired but for this nice concept Steelbook, I find that a title ruins the look of the book taken from the movie.
But does come with a PET Slip.
i got my copy, they had like 10 of each at my sore...first time i see a lot of people waiting for the steelbook, i was there for 15 min, only 1 3d copy left when i went to the cashier....
Was very upset. After I picked up 1 out of the 4 3D steels on display, someone else came up from behind me and picked up the last 3. I was fortunate enough to get first pick, but I just hope he was getting them for his buddies or, God hope he's one of us, for his fellow ninjas
I got to my local Best Buy around 11 am and they had 10 copies of the 2D SteelBook and only 2 copies of the 3D SteelBook available. A lady in front of me got one of the last two 3D copies and almost picked up the second copy. I even heard her say, "This should be worth some money." When she saw me eying the last 3D copy she backed up and I snagged that and Moonlight quickly and I left. Like she said, I'm sure with how limited the 3D SteelBook seems to be it will indeed be worth some money. This is the only Marvel film I missed in theaters. I hope it's worth the blind buy.
I have mixed feelings about this one! I like the art but I thought this would have the debossing on the back like the European ones, even though I would like to have that one I just going to stick with this one and if I'm going to double dip is going to be with the blufans one!

From someone who is not Crazy about Marvel Movies (I only really like Thor and GOTG and the 1st Captain America; the following CA2 CA3 and Avengers I do not like). I really enjoyed this movie, I was surprised that I enjoyed it that much. I was happy that none of The Avengers popped in for a visit, it's a movie about Doctor Strange, especially with Rachel McAdams in it which is superb and that she does not have a Marvel vibe attached to her... This movie is refreshing for a Marvel one.
