I got the steelbook delivered no problems


I'm curious what type of packaging was used to send the keychain was it in a box or jiffy mailer

Well as of today, of the three steelbooks I ordered (two Zboxes from zavvi and one standalone steelbook from The Hut) only The Hut order has arrived and no keychains for any of the orders!

Lucky I received one order I guess!

few questions :
1 _ actually, I'd like to know also how many of you, guys are still waiting for the steelbook (from The Hut & Zavvi) ?

2 _ and also, did you guys placed & received others steelbooks titles from zavvi & the hut ?
just to see if there's more issue than usual with this title (Dredd).

Still no sign of my steelbook let alone the poxy keychain, I'm convinced Zavvi never even sent it as the minute the ZBox shipped it went from my outstanding orders

like i said, i'm pretty sure Zavvi & The Hut sent email despatch but not the merchandise, that's a scam !

There was a pic up on eBay earlier today but I can't seem to find it now that I've just looked - it was a picture of a numbered keychain with the number '0629' clearly visible.

That's 3 out of 2,500 that have been delivered so far - that's one busy courier company

It was a box, excessively large, some big air packs as protection.

Massive box for a keyring, yet they tried to send steels out in A1 mailers!!!!

That's all we need - unnecessary wasteful packaging which will bring about another set of problems for the 'lucky' recipient as the box is clearly too large to fit in a letter box.
What will happen if you are out ?
Will you get a card from the courier company advising you that the package cannot be delivered and if you're lucky you will be able to arrange another delivery but supposing you have to collect it yourself from the courier company . . . ?

What is wrong with a suitable sized padded envelope - after all, delivered by courier, these metal badges are hardly going to endure the rigours of the regular postal service

The mind boggles yet again.

Interestingly I was looking on zavvi help on twitter and somebody was compaining that they hadn't recieved the key chain for the 10 copies they had ordered and recieved. That's right 10 copies. I guess they don't stick to the buying limit then.

Fantastic packaging so I take it was some other supplier who shipped these going by the packaging used as that's not what Zavvi/Hut would use

Lol ridiculous box size

Lol Amazon and other retailers in US have been known to speed up logistics by using the box on hand at the time the conveyor belt comes with picked order, vs stopping beltto meet shipping delivery guidelines. The other day we received 1 blu-ray in a box that could fit a multifunction office laser printer..crazy, and sadly wasteful as well.
