Claiming I only like it because it's Japanese, features Katakana and that I keep it sealed with its slip is also a presumptuous argument - none of which are true in my case. From what I can see of the zavvi edition the colours don't look as good as the Japanese matte version, nor does the spine, and you get less of the poster art. I also don't like the "3D" addition to the main title (which is too big) and has wisely been dropped for the MONDO edition too.
Got it. Valid opinions. I do hope they change the color of that spine also. Color of the front doesnt look better or worse to me. Hoping for embossing as well. But I want the ultimate end result to be a fast sell out to add more proof that a sequel needs to be made.

I like the honesty that EIV have shown with the mock up artwork, at least you can see it has a very dull colour palette, very subdued, you can even see just how vibrant it would look with the mock up picture showing the J card added. (as it continues with the steel art)

But I have the amaray with the same artwork (but brighter) and the quality of the video transfer is pretty poor with the UK disc, the 2D and 3D are on the same disc as well, and has horrendous grain in certain dark scenes.

I must of seen this 4-5 times in 3D and everytime I keep spotting 3D conversion errors, there is some really ropey 3D in this sometimes.

So I'm umming and ahhring about this, unsure whether it is now worth it. I feel it's a wasted opportunity. I really, REALLY wanted this to be awesome....:(

Glad there is a UK option for collectors but no double dip for me and will stick with the Japanese version. Would have gone for it had the (cover) artwork been different.

What is the betting that there's an embossed border going straight through Dredd's head....

If it were glossy and the title was debossed I think this may be quite nice IMO....

I'd much rather have 3D and the quote on the front than the Japanese text and credits... just saying. If it ends up being gloss and they don't mess up the back art, then they've got a winner on their hands IMO.
I'd much rather have the Japanese transfer than the UK one.

I do like the UK spelling of Judgement though! 'Judgment' really - annoys me...and the Mondo has is.

Even the German T2 has 'Judgment Day', GRR!

Well it depends on your viewpoint. Mondo spells it with American and Zavvi with British English. For me the Mondo is wrong. I let Terminator 2 go because 'Judgment Day' is part of the title.

I blame that beep Noah Webster for butchering the English language.

I don't think being American or British has anything to do with it. They're the same word, just Judgment is used in the legal context.

So that being said, Judge Dredd should be Judgment and T2 should be Judgement.
