Tipping point for me, hence my first post. Going to be sending it back, clearly someone has seen this in QA but thought f**k it it's fine send it out.
Need to start letting Zavvi know that this is not acceptable.

Any nice Region B alternative Steels?

I know its technically not a steelbook, but you can't go wrong with the french tin/digipack edition. Had it in my collection since its release and damn nice it is too!!
Apparently, one of the best editions in terms of picture quality too....

Don't think so but not sure as I got a region free player plus I rip them to mkv as a matter of convenience

I'm tempted to buy the France 2D version and put a second disc in this one. While I liked the cover of the Mondo release, I hate the word steelbook on the side. To me it's like ford writing car on the side of their cars.

Be careful if you do decide to get the French one as there is a combo 2D/3D disc that quite a few sellers list as the 2D only one. An alternative could be the German 2D only, I have it and it is very good.

It also puts me off them a bit. That and pointlessly numbering all their releases (think Dredd has 005 on the spine).
Sure the Mondo lovers will vehemently disagree but I personally think its unnecessary. The Jock artwork does look fantastic though.

I don't think this is as bad as some are making out. The cropping is poor and the artwork is repetitive but it is otherwise a decent Steelbook. It is no more flawed than the other editions available (Canadian release has terrible back artwork and pointless Steelbook logo on the spine and Japanese version has credits on the front and a poor matte finish). I am awaiting the Novamedia version as it has the potential to decimate everything that has gone before.

Was it Zavvi or the Hut you ordered from
If they don't supply the keychain they are breaking sales of goods act and description of goods for sale
You ordered a product that clearly states with Limited Edition Exclusive Numbered Keychain and that means they must supply you with the keychain

I hope for Zavvi/Hut sake they supply all customers the keychain were payment has been taken and orders shipped
I can understand it been sent separate from the steelbook but they must supply goods ordered as described
A contract of sale happens when payment is taken and notice of your order been shipped

I ordered from Zavvi so it was them I contacted and received the standard nonsense reply. Like Paul said I've replied pointing out that they have broken the goods for sale act and I await their response.

And yes I do like the steel but things like this and the ever growing prices (and a wedding to pay for) are slowly pushing me out of the steelbook game completely!

In fact I think the front artwork of the Dutch futurpak is the best!

They've charged you for the badge right?

So at the least. If they can't supply you with the badge, they need to refund you what they charged you for it.

Only after that could they offer an apology and an EXTRA 10% discount.

They haven't technically charged us separately for the key chain as it was supposed to be a freebie with the steelbook.

Didn't they boost the price by £9,99 or something when it went live? So it was hardly 'free'.

Anyway, I wouldn't expect anything other than this mess from Zavvi. Glad I stood my ground and refused to pay them that much for this and steered well away from it.

Feel bad for all the members that didnt get their freebies though.
