This is now up on the HMV Japan website but is listed at 4,935 Yen, so there won't be much of a saving over Amazon Japan as it stands.
Am I right in thinking that it won't play on uk blu ray players? .....yes yes I know noob question but hey....

All the releases for Dredd so far have been region locked, so it looks like a multi-region blu-ray player will be needed i'm afraid!
I love that the disc has artwork. This is why Japan steels are highly demanded, they spare no expense.
Do Hmv take the money straight away or on despatch,and what are the delivery time like to the UK?
If you add 2 to the basket it discounts them to about ¥3800 each (26% off)
However it doesn't appear to state if it is the steelbook or not

Indeed, on the rare occasions I go with a Japan steelie that's normally what I end up doing.Ship it with 2 items buddy it makes the shipping worth it
Postage in Japan is the biggest scam going. I asked a work colleague who used to live there if it would be cheaper for one of his friends to forward items on, instead of paying online store prices. But the cost was pretty much the same
Might just wait and try to get this off eBay later in the year. Importing 1 steel seems like a lot of hassle.
That's an idea mate , but if you look at such titles ironsky , skyfall , paul , plus the white batmans ,your end up paying treble or maybe selling a kidney
just better to bite the bullet pay the shipping and maybe a little customs charge
The cost of shipping and customs make this prohibitively expensive for a disc that I can't even play (and I can't justify a multiregion player right now even if they are quite reasonably priced). There seems to be plenty of demand so I will sit back and hope for a UK or European steel instead.
