I always be fine paying slightly more for Diabolik because I’ve never gotten an order that didn’t arrive to me in pristine condition and that’s like over 10-15 years+ at this point. The labels themselves don’t even always get stuff to you unscathed. Plus it makes me feel good to give my money to the little guy when I can.
I don't use DiabolikDVD as shipping cost is often more than the item I want to order itself

Example I decided to order this from DiabolikDVD shipping to Ireland is $45.17
Total price would be $120.16

If I decided to cancel a pre order with DiabolikDVD you don't get your money back
Store credit only

DiabolikDVD should be like majority of other USA retailers allow you to cancel a pre order and provide a full refund if you decide to cancel a pre order if payment already taken
In my opinion they also should only take payment when shipping your order

Store Credit is not a full refund
In EU that's illegal to offer store credit instead of a full refund the exception is something made personal example with your name on it
USA should provide same customer rights as EU

the art is so gaudy it can only have been approved by refn himself. They should have went all in and just stuck a removable gold scorpion on the front of the box.

Note on a separate matter
EU members with a delivery address in EU Second Sight apply your local EU vat rate at checkout so no customs charge when getting delivery
Might depend on the country, but at least with orders shipped to Finland, they just take off the UK VAT from the online shop prices, leaving the local VAT to be collected at the border.

What price listed at checkout
You have to make sure your correct country is selected in terms of your address
Sometimes it can list wrong country

Often you won't see updated price at checkout until shipping addrees is entered and shipping option is selected
Finland 24% vat = £56.83

£54.99 Price with UK 20% vat removed is £45.83

I just tested second sight website with a finland Helsinki address and price at checkout changed to £56.83 before shipping which means it applied Finland 24% vat rate
Shipping £12.74
Total £69.57

Example my order for The Witch limited edition with second sight for delivery to Rep of Ireland 23 % vat rate is applied
£41.00 and £4.96 both includes Irish vat rate 23%
Total with vat included is £45.96

If vat had been removed the price including shipping would have been £37.36 (£45.96 - £8.60)

other do ship internationally, but had lots of troubles with import taxes, only amazon is stress free for this.

It varies with Amazon UK can be a few days or a over a week sometimes when a listing goes live

Some countries outside UK you can't order until after release date with second sight releases on Amazon UK that is why you can't pre order The Witch on Amazon UK at the moment
The Witch is live on Amazon UK for a UK delivery address

Second Sight webstore ship worldwide
They are IOSS registered and I had no issues with orders
The CN label and invoice has all correct details including a breadown of vat for delivery country that is applied
EU countries they apply your country vat rate at checkout
Vat payment goes to revenue in your country

Make sure you double checked your delivery address including post code etc and country before you complete payment
If you done it correctly you will see price change at checkout to include belgium 21% vat rate in price
If delivery address and country not entered correctly you might end up the price be with vat removed instead

Note is better if you use google chrome web browser on a PC/Laptop than using a mobile phone web browser
Make sure both country and delivery address is listed correctely in shipping before you do payment

Example test delivery address I used for Belgium
I used Pizza Hut Waterloo address for a test
Chau. de Bruxelles 200 D, 1410 Waterloo, Belgium

£68.19 (includes £11.83 in Belguim taxes)

You can do pre orders of USA releases on Amazon USA for delivery to a UK address

It's when USA release date arrives you need to use Amazon UK instead for USA releases as in after USA release date for delivery to UK address

Amazon USA Global Shop listings go live on Amazon UK after USA release date
UK delivery address only
Yep I think that’s why I’ve ordered grease 2 steelbook on the USA site now and not waited for it to appear on the uk site after the release date. just making sure I get my order in:bag:

That's strange as I used a finland Helsinki delivery address in a test order

Before you get to clicking payment what does it list at ckeckout
I figured out where the apparent difference in VAT handling comes from.

My order total was above 150 EUR, so IOSS doesn't apply and the VAT will be paid when the parcel arrives at the destination country.

How many items did you order

Keep order amount including shipping added to be below €150 when using UK retailers that use IOSS

Currency exchange rates can vary daily with banks so best when doing an order the total amount has no chance of been over €150

@paulboland @Ranavalone Last time I ordered from SS, the Guest box set it came thru without being stopped at the border. Hope it happens this time too.
I previously mentioned I had no issues with Second Sight
Republic of Ireland vat was included in my order so no customs would be involved as vat was already paid when doing my orders

When Second Sight registered for IOSS in September 2021
I was one of the first batch of orders to be done using IOSS with Second Sight

I posted that info in The Babadook thread on september 19th 2021
