Funnily enough I hadn't thought of that! But what's the attraction, do you think this is a good looking steel? For me it's ok but not amazing and doesn't even come with inside artwork. Did it have a lower than normal print run or exclusive worldwide release?

I think the artwork is great. The front is understated and the back looks fantastic with a really cool effect (reminds me of the back artwork of The Green Hornet and Terminator Salvation). The film was probably one of the most highly rated releases of 2011 which pretty much turned everyone into a Ryan Gosling fanboy. The only alternative to this is the French Steelbook (which looks like a Stickerbook) and the German release with a Blu-ray banner and printed back neither of which are anywhere near the same level of quality as this one.

Fantastic, unique art work for an excellent film. Plus the only other release is the French version I believe.

Plus limited print run which sold out very quickly.

Thanks for the info guys. I haven't seen the movie however it sounds pretty good and IMDB has it at 7.9 which is a sizeable score. I'll have to check it out, maybe i'll fall in love with the steel once i've seen it

Was there any special treatment on the front? I think it would look good with a matte finish but the word DRIVE in a super gloss to make it stand out!

Havent seen it yet but i love the kavinsky tunes and this steelbook screams quality. Hard to find for a reasonable price though
