Sounds like the street date practice in Ireland is different to the UK then. But yes, if it's in Irish stores, that should indicate whether UK stores will get some. You would think HMV would allocate a certain percentage to be reserved for their shops?

Wow, just noticed this is already selling for £90 on eBay. If they don't make any more then this one could end up being the UK's most sought-after steelbook.

Someone's offering it on Ebay for £90, but the most expensive to have sold thus far is £40, which is likely to spiral if there are no in-store Drives, plummet it there are

I think even if there are some in-store copies, it's still going to be rarity quite soon thanks to mad steelbook collectors wiping all the HMV shelves clean of stock! I can only see prices rising on this one.

I can't see this going for more than about forty pounds on the bay, it's not going to be another iron man. That was a one off imho

I was reluctant to pre-order one for weeks because of their poor packaging!! I received a dented "Devil's Double" and just couldn't bring myself to order one again. I will need one eventually though, so if any of the UK members here has an extra one sorted that is (will be) sealed and mint and wants to trade for some German steelbook - give me a shout please

I don't think anyone's expecting it to come close to Iron Man in terms of Collectibility. Maybe along the lines of a UK Paul or True Grit perhaps.

I still think that's being a little optimistic. At the highest, maybe a Scott Pilgrim. Only time will tell though. Just glad I got my order and my friends order in early. I actually thought I had forgotten to at one point.

I'm a newbie steelbook collector and stumbled across these here forums at the weekend. Essential bookmark for sure!

Have this on pre-order from HMV. Hoping it arrives Friday or Saturday. Might just be my favourite one of my collection so far, fantastic film. May also hit up Oxford Street store on Monday and see if I can get hold of another one. Fingers crossed for everyone who missed out on the pre-order.

I think it will be more than paul as that was available elsewhere, this will be somewhere between scott pilgrim and start trek play.com

I think a lot of people will want this after release because of the other cancellations. Let the dust settle after the release and it will level out, if it's not in stores then it will be worth a lot more; if it is then not so much.

Either way it will be fun and it's a great movie, despite what many say I like this temp artwork. I think it's my first steelbook buy where I don't know the final artwork. That also could have a bearing on the price (like xmen play.com or source code play.com)

This release is mega hot...Will be more sort after than Star Trek in the short term IMHO.
