Yeah, i hope Zavvi will do a re-release of Roger Rabbit!! ;)

Such ReReleases would destroy the whole SB Game :(

I agree and I hope they realize this. I've not been collecting steelbooks for long but what's the point of a limited run and where is the collectability if titles keep getting identical re releases.

There's a lot of long sold out steelbooks I'd love to own but I'd hate for them to be re released for the sake of everyone who already has them.

They are already pushing it close with many of the recent titles. I just wish they would stick to releasing new stuff. There are plenty of films which deserve Steelbooks but instead we keep getting new versions of titles which have perfectly good Steelbooks available already.

Agreed. I can see why they choose to do re-releases though... they notice how well a certain steelbook sold and begin to see dollar signs. Hopefully most studios will soon realise that giving new/different films the steelbook treatment for the first time ever can bring in even more money... Roger Rabbit being the perfect example!

I totally understand why they do it, but really Steelbooks are small fry compared to regular releases for studios I would've thought. Warner chose to re-release the Batman films, Argo and The Town. Instead they could have chose to release Gangster Squad and a few catalogue titles (Blood Diamond, The Prestige and more) which i'm sure would have been in high demand.

Well I for one would buy all of those... in fact, they're probably in my top 20 (if not top 10) of films I'd like to see on steelbook. Warner have so many films that would sell like hotcakes if they gave them the steelbook treatment, and it makes me sad to think we may never get them. :(

i finally managed to get this in a trade, it should arrive with with me early next week. Does anyone have any decent inside artwork?

This has been a want of mine for a very long time and i was just wishing CEX would get a copy in stock but it never seemed to happen. Although knowing my luck they'll probably have one this week now lol

good post

there are so many other titles that deserve the steelbook treatment so please stop those re-releases

Look at posts #1125, 1132, 1162, 1189 and 1248 for examples. I think this is one of the more modded steelbook around simply because of the missing inside art and also of the abundance of beautiful images from the film and its artifacts. Personally I am still thinking of a way to incorporate the scorpion from the FS slip into the inside artwork :D

how did you pimp that art work like that? that looks amazing. I cant believe that this comes with no inside artwork. I was looking for this for a while but Im let down by the no inside art work

The back artwork on this is just amazing.

The best Drive Steelbook there is I think even without inside art...:p
