Those cardboard inner sleeves are a mess. They look beautiful but they are the best way to get your record f'up. Good call on changing it immediately!

For me, that's the biggest advantage of this 12". It collects my favorite tracks. So I don't need to put on every time the full thing, turning and switching the 2LP to get to all these tracks.

The last pic shows the damage on Drive. Is this the same for you guys? Did you guys try getting a replacement or just kept it? I think i can live with it, PLUS the amount of goodies they sent out feels like i got more than what i paid for. The same type of damage is on Symmetry's The Magician sleeve.


The 2-cd album "Themes for an Imaginary Film" by Symmetry is something i actually ordered. It wasn't an extra. I listened to some sample songs from the album on YT and instantly loved them. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but i have a feeling @tridon will like this album. I love how at the back it says "Total driving time: 2 hours 37 seconds" and their use of font...its perfect. The sleeve itself is too tight though. I can see the CDs getting scratched pretty quick so i will not be storing them in there. The physical 2 CD album was $5 and i think you can digitally download the whole thing for $1 on their website.

This particular album is more on the synth-pop and synth/retro-wave type. Should be perfect for driving.

Edit: Listened to the 1st CD, not much retro in it actually, just hints of it. Still good to listen to while driving though

Yep, mine has the exact same damage unfortunately... same goes for my copy of Symmetry. But like you said... the damage isn't too bad, plus they sent tons of freebies along with it, so it felt wrong to complain.

I listened to the 1st CD completely and it's more synth; just hints of retro within couple of songs. But some really cool beats though. The build up is crazy on some of them

This damage is called "seam split". It happens at the shipping process when the vinyl bust through the jacket because it moves back and forth in the jacket.
You can only avoid this with private sales. When you ask the seller if he can open the vinyl and place the vinyl on top of the jacket before shipping.
Of course you can't ask bigger retailer for that.
