This version looks to be almost the exact same version as what I just bought from Target 2 weeks ago.

The only difference that I can see—other than the 3 Target-related stickers, which sit on TOP of the shrink-wrap on the front cover—is that the Target "exclusive" (uhhhhhh, that's "exclusive" until the next party releases their own version) has what is really an upside-down J-card that starts less than one-half inch from the TOP of the front of the Steel and then journeys over to the full back (or was that the wide receiver?). You can see this much clearer simply by strollin' over to their Web site.

The good thing about the Target Steel is that it is still available and is only US $20.99 without taxes. Shipping was free because I spent more than $50 (I bought a total of 3 of these).

Roughly $85 shipped to usa.

the biggest difference mocean is that it includes a booklet with it. Thats why people are spazzing over it. Like how Jaws Japan had.

The steelbook itself is different. Get two and hold them side by side. Huge difference. The Japan one has a metallic bling effect while the U.S version does not. The Japan version also doesn't have the writing "Anniversary Limited Edition on the top of the steelbook.

They are completely different.

The spine is also way different.

I couldn't get the bling effect to show up on the Japan one. It is a much higher quality print. The bare metal is brushed where as the U.S. version is plain. The moon on the Japan version has metallic while the U.S. version does not.

Japan steels are of different print runs. Its obvious when you have them side by side. Japan steel quality has been and will always be the best. I have had over 1000 Japan steels go through my hands in the last year. Its more than obvious the quality difference.

Tough call but i think pass on this one even if it might rise in value cause of the premium finish and booklet. One of Spielbergs Lesser films imo.
My targets on terminator Jp. Definitely coming with something special at that price.

chip, did yours come with that same polybag wrapping as MIB3? Mine did and Amazon JP CS said that is how it is for these steelbooks.

this will be a winner Sunny, as soon as stock is gone ~ Bang !! every one wants a copy !!

Got this ordered already, even if it is expensive, can see this going up in value like all of their steelz with booklets (except for dragon tattoo that was strangely back in stock several times :hilarious:)

In my opinion Jaws Japan has the coolest looking slip this year followed closely by Underworld Taiwan. Cant believe I sold a Underworld Taiwan at a loss this week. Gave it away.
