yes and no, they put in a pre-authorization charge but the money never actually leaves.

I don't know if this means anything but while it says "not sold in stores" it does state a Store Item Number (DPCI): 246-29-0002 under "other info".

Yea but unless they package horribly I think I would rather not take the chance with limited quantities and instead just order it online.

I think Rick has given you a reason to possibly try grabbing a copy instore instead.
I guess what I'm afraid of is that not all stores will get steelbooks. That's definitely going to make it harder to grab a copy in store.

Man I should have stayed on Drums group buy for the Canadian edition had I known that Target's packaging was so shoddy. Does anybody know if Target does site-to-store like Walmart and Best Buy so as to pick up at the store?

I have never seen the option, usually the way that works is the store has the item in stock.

25 usa shipped its awesome! pre ordered, i pre paid with pay pal and where it says if u wanted to leave a note for the seller i place "please ship in box and bubble wrap to avoid damage since steelbooks are so fragile" i'll cross my fingers til release to see if they read
