I know there's a release in the works, but since it's not yet released I thought posting it in "blu-ray wishes" would still be pertinent.

Imagine the above image embossed, in steelbook format. It would look amazing. And everyone who has seen E.T. will tell you that it's a sci-fi classic, and even more importantly, it's timeless. I still get moved by the movie the same now as I used to when I first saw it as a kid. Please make it happen, Universal! And when you do, please commission a steelbook release.

As long as they released an original format of it, without all of the crap spielberg added, i'd definately buy it. It was one of my favorite movies growing up.
