Didn't you guys read the BOLD print.Nova with korea is claiming exclusivity on the finish. They are going out on a limb on this one. They are completely putting their reputation on the line.

So the only difference is the title on the japan version. The Japan version doesn't have a nice slip and isn't individually numbered and costs twice as much.

So the only thing the Japan version has going for it over the KOR version is the name. The Japan version doesn't have a nice slip and isn't individually numbered and costs twice as much.

Pretty much. Doesn't have spot gloss either. I don't understand why no one could pull of a lenticular slip for this movie.

I am kind of annoyed i bought the regular korean one but now they're saying all the korean have spot gloss and for me the 1/4 slips go in a shoebox, so i was happy but a little pricey. 36.99 plus 13 for shipping. I would have went for the target but no 3d is a no go for me these days. I really do not get all the love for the 1/4 slips. I only like the full lenticular but even then I feel like it takes away from the steelbook. I kind of wish no steels had slips, so I could better inspect for damage. The scratches and dings are always right under the 1/4 slip like my Korean Avatar. One millimeter under the slip.

I assume they keep them sealed to sell someday. I cannot keep any sealed, it's too much fun opening them. Plus I would never sell them anyway and I think they will only depreciate over time. I just think if I even move to 4k I would just put the movies in my steelbooks down the road. I actually always fear my blufans are going to get scuffed and scratched from the lenticular covers. This habit has made me very ocd about every little scratch and dent which makes me jealous of the guys who never open them. You never get disappointed with a huge dent on the back or paint chips everwhere. So i can fully understand keeping them sealed but i cannot resist opening all of my own.

I won't sell any of them and also often double dip+ and most of the time don't even open one of them... some I open but very selectively(rare I open a steelbook), My steel, I get a rush of keeping them sealed OCD+. If I know I'll want to rewatch the movie, I'll buy the Amaray also, love collecting slipcovers Amaray too and some really beautiful ones out there.
