I do agree I am in Love with those Customized Disks they are so amazing looking. And can't wait to see the Japanese J-Card that will come with the release !

I will say I'm a bit disappointed in the finish, but I knew there probably wouldn't be any extra goodies with this one. Is the price a bit steep for just a unique title? For sure - I wasn't too practical on this one! But I dig the unique title and this is the only steel I'm getting for this movie, so I might as well enjoy it. Plus it's too late to cancel now

I will wait to have it in hands to make my opinion about the finish as I don't find the picture/doubt that it will be as dull as some people say by just basing their opinions from the Picture, I do expect it will look different when holding it. I also wasn't practical as it is steep indeed in terms of price but when I saw the custom made disks I was sold.

I was surprised that it was arriving that quickly too. DHL sent me a text today notifying me that it would arrive tomorrow, so I'm counting on it!

Korean version is spot gloss finished on the steel "only country to do so", Japanese version isn't. Slip is unimportant to me as I open them all. Whats on the back of a slip is pretty much irrelevant, the front is what matters. This like many new Japanese versions was very poor for the money and unfortuntely most of them aren't holding their value anymore "If thats why people keep them sealed". The Title is the only truly unique part that made it worthwhile. It hasn't even sold out yet, which considering the title it should have by now but the price is a joke. I Saw The Devil from PA was cheaper than this! Japan is no longer the best and most exclusive place for steelbooks, and hasn't be for at least 18months.

So since you open them and that the slips are unimportant to you, there is no difference between the regular Korean release and the Nova one(only for the bonus cards) ? True that Japan has lost it a bit but it doesn't mean that they can't come out with a nice and Unique Steel. Not only the title makes this release Unique but I believe that it is Japan only to have those Custom made Artwork Disks unique to the release ?! True that the MovieNex releases(Thor 2 and CA2) gave them a bad reputation but people tend to forget that it was not an amazon exclusive but a Japan release as HMV was carrying them also. In any case there is some releases of this title for every taste and it is up to the buyer to decide what appeals to him or her.
I want this one because All You Need is Kill is such a stupid but awesome title. Also despite the Engrish, it actually makes more sense than Edge of Tomorrow. People really should read the original novel. It's super thin so it won't take you long any way.

Mine's coming DHL today too. I can't wait to have it in hand. I agree with Actarus, that you can't judge by photos.
I got the steel of The Untouchables. And the pics made it look O.K., but when I got it, it was freakin' gorgeous!
So, we shall see. The title alone is worth it, IMO.

Just arrived in mint condition, used gift wrapping, 1st time I bought something from Amazon jp...from Japan to my door step in little over 24 hrs. Wat

Is it just me or it looks same finish as the Korean release, compared them both side to side and cannot see any difference in the finish ???

It's a helluva price for what looks essentially the same as the HMV one (title excepted) - which is very nice in hand btw
