Any chance this is in fact a metalpak? We all thought the Wizard of Oz Best buy exclusive was a steelbook but it ended up being a metalpak.

I had planned to order the US Amaray (which has a German track included) but now I'll wait for the Steelbook, hope the German track will be confirmed...

Elf was released originally by New Line Cinema, which was acquired by Turner (WB) in '08
Alliance was the company that had released this previously on Blu in CA, but the new SteelBook is being released in Steel by WB down here in the US

SteelBooks are all about capturing the essence/tone of the movie
This 1 is perfect IMO

If I had to guess it looked like a gloss finish but cannot be sure. There was no embossing though, 100%.

Oh it was more of a silver color too... not the blue tone that the pic in the OP has.

Got my shipping notice for this from Amazon, and when I looked at the tracking info it said package weight 6.6 lbs and I was all like . Then I saw the e-mail right after that showing how my Hobbit box set with statue was in that same package and I was all like .
