Quick question, are Amazon.jp taking import fees for their items in advance now? It's adding it to the price for some weird reason, this & any new order I make since 2 weeks ago, anyone else experiencing this guys?

Yes. This is now common place to us and Japan now. Seem to be making a saving of no longer having to pay dhl / ups fee and wait 24 hours for dhl online payment to clear. They have a minimum of a day holding time.

If it's like us amazon, after 30 days you can query the import fee and you'll be refunded part or all the discount but no more

This new lower shipping price and import deposit up front got the order to me super fast. Was shipped Saturday at 02:30 am. Wow

Usually stuck in Germany. Then updated to customer action. Then pay charge online then wait a day. And no query next month about some vat charge back
