heres another great film from the 80s by john carpenter starring kurt russell and the late great ernest borgnine, just wondered if you would like to see this and escape from LA in steelbook seperate releases. I know paramount own the rights to escape from LA but not sure who owns the rights to new york, so with the centenary editions on play if these would get a release as well.

Would like to see this as a steelbook. Perhaps a matt style finish. Title debossed. Have Kurt Russell glossy (you know, like thor on the thor steelbook)

And perhaps interior artwork as

Another personal favourite. Would definitely purchase Escape from New York in steelbook. The second one made me want to give myself an uppercut i.e. the 'surfing' scene EEK!

I'd love to see some other John Carpenter titles released in steelbook too.

I would actually like to see both of these films in a double pack, preferably released by Arrow

I believe New Line Cinema currently hold the rights for these films (bought from StudioCanal), although I could be wrong. There's currently a remake / reboot in the works, with Jason Statham and Tom Hardy tipped to take the role of Snake Plissken

Jason Statham?! Urgggg! I seriously hope not.
Don't see why the don't just get Russell back!

But yes a steelbook for both films would be great!

Any of these images would do for cover art!

I have only seen Escape from LA, I liked it at the time but some aspects of it doesn't stand up to viewing by today's standards.

If this was to be done, it would have to be a double set!
