No thanks, I'll keep my Canadian Steel.
first time on blu-ray in Germany, so I think it's a new master by Nameless & Sony
I wouldn't count on it. "Remastered" is a nebulous marketing term, anyway. Could just mean "remastered" compared to previous German releases, which were exclusively on DVD/VHS.
I wouldn't be surprised if they just add the German dub to the existing master, why spend any money on this when people will buy it, anyway?

by all accounts, Nameless have done work on it by scratch removal and possible DNR. I'm awaiting reviews and screencaps before i part my wallet for it

Seems like you're right, according to the label there will be a "normal" version with "original" PQ and one "adjusted to the usual standards of modern HD-TVs." The latter smells suspiciously like a euphemism for "we'll just DNR the living crap out of this film!"

Artwork and it's MediaMarkt exclusive. Also regarding the remastered, on a german site dedicated to censorship around films, it was written, that the film would be featured in 2 versions:
1. Same as foreign Blu-Rays (which applies to the 2010 release)
2. A slightly remastered one
